1. What do I need to sell my car to you?
  • You need the title with your name on it, Driver’s License, and any lien information if there is a loan on the vehicle
  • 2. What if there are more than two names on the title?
  • If there is more than one name on the Title and it states (and/or) then only one person on the title needs to be present
  • If there is more than one name on the title and it states (and) on the title, then both parties have to be present to sign the title
  • 3. Will you buy my car if it is currently wrecked or not running?
  • Yes we purchase vehicles regularly that are either wrecked or not running
  • 4. How fast can I get a check?
  • Many of our customers get a check the same day with the correct supporting documents
  • 5. What documentation do I have to have to get a check the same day?
  • Oklahoma Title in your name
  • Photo ID
  • Lien Release if Necessary
  • Tag must be current
  • No other active Liens are verified by the Tag Agency (we will verify this)
  • 6. How far will one of your mobile buyers drive to look at my car?
  • You will have to contact our store to discuss this
  • 7. Do I need to come into the store to complete the transaction?
  • Many of our customers do not end up coming to the store to sell us their vehicle. We make it easy on the customer, and many times we are able to deliver a check and pick up the vehicle
  • 8. Do I have to buy a car in order to sell a car to your dealership?
  • NO
  • 9. How long is my appraisal good for?
  • 7 days
  • 10. Will I get paid if I refer someone to you and they sell their car to Nelson
  • YES, $200
  • 11. What if I still owe money on the car I want to sell?
  • We have a lot of experience helping customers who may owe money on their vehicles. We are prepared to make this easy and we can walk you through that process
  • 12. How long will the appraisal take?
  • An appraisal usually takes less than 30 minutes
  • 13. I can’t find my Title what do I do?
  • It depends on your situation. If it’s just a lost title, there are ways we can help you apply for a new one
  • 14. What if my Tag is expired?
  • Your tags need to be up to date in order to sell your vehicle to anyone, including us. The benefit of selling to us is that we can take some of the proceeds of the purchase to update the tag. If your tag is expired, don’t hesitate to contact us
  • 15. My car is dirty, do I need to have it detailed before I have an appraisal done?
  • No need to worry about detailing your vehicle before getting it appraised
  • 16. My car is damaged, do I need to have that repaired before I have anappraisal done and will you still purchase it like that?
  • We would gladly purchase your vehicle in its current condition. We have purchased many vehicles that are currently in need of repair. With the amount of vehicles we have repaired, we are able to get this done at a much cheaper rate than the average consumer can
  • 17. Do you need to see my car to give me an offer?
  • We are more than happy to give you an offer over the phone. To get the most accurate or highest value, we will need to see it in person. Remember, we are more than happy to come to you if necessary.
